Monochrome

My wardrobe consists mainly of black and white. If it's got a print, its most likely animal or a check. So when I stumbled across
this monochrome statement coat you can imagine I was pretty excited! Now, I don't shop at M&S often but the sale always has some hidden gems! The coat (by Autograph) should have been £139 and I got it for a mere £66, not bad for 'Italian fabric'!

Then the afterthought "what will I wear it with?". It only seemed right to wear something plain and simple, and one foot in Zara and I spotted possibly the brightest bag I have ever seen. I had to buy it, adding a pop of colour to my two-tone outfit. I've had lots of compliments on the bag, probably because its so bright you literally cannot miss it! (Bonus for crossing roads.)

To finish the outfit off I added my favourite H&M hat (which I spotted today in Grey!!) and my classic monk shoes. My monks are by Dune which I happened to stumble across in TK Maxx! I searched high and low for my size across a few different stores but had no luck. With TK Maxx I never really think to go online but I wanted them so bad I had a little faith and to my delight there they were. Moral of that story, always check online just incase! x

New Year, New Balance

I have finally decided to take the plunge into the blogging world! So here goes... I'm beginning with one of my favourite Christmas presents, my new sneaks! New balance 420's, THE most comfortable trainers I have ever worn. They made running around the sales after Christmas so much easier, I was dodging crazy shoppers like lightening! I love how light they are, and how retro they look. I'm always a UK 6 in shoes but ended up with a 7 in the 420's as I found they fit quite small, so I'd advise you try before you buy where possible! I wore my NB with a chunky knit from M&S to dress down my Topshop leather look pants (£18 sale bargain!). Layered on top is my oversized camel coat from Zara, only £40! Hope you like! x

P.S. Super big thank you to Lydia for helping me out with the
technicalities of blogger, you are a star! x
