 T-shirt - Ebay // Waistcoat - Topshop (Past season) // Jeans - Next // Sandals - Birkenstock // Sunglasses - H&M (sold out)

Waking up to the sunshine on bank holiday Monday was such a good feeling after an awful few days of rain! I had a pretty chilled day planned, so it was a perfect excuse to dress down in jeans and Birkenstocks. I've wanted a pair of boyfriend jeans for ages but as jean shopping is such a pain I put off trying to find the perfect pair. Then a few weeks ago I ended up in our local Next store with my mum, and I thought I'd kill some time by trying a few pairs they had on offer. I was pleasantly surprised when I got these on, especially when I saw the price tag for only £26. I had to buy a size smaller than I would usually as their sizes come up slightly bigger so I left the store feeling like I'd saved money and dropped a dress size, who wouldn't be happy with that! I styled my boyfriend jeans with a basic tee and an embellished waistcoat my boyfriend bought me a few years ago, it's perfect for adding something extra to a casual look.

Have you found the perfect boyfriend jeans? Hope you had a good bank holiday! x

I have been so busy over the last few weeks I have really neglected my blog! So here's a little snippet of what I wore yesterday for a proper chilled out sunday in my new found loves my 'Birks'. I definitely think you either love or hate Birkenstocks and I for one absolutely adore them. Super comfortable, my feet felt happy and free! I chucked on my Asos cami dress and this beautiful printed shirt that I got from a sample sale at work! There's lots of stunning kimonos on the high street at the moment that will give a similar look to this shirt, try H&M and River Island for a embellished or brightly coloured throw on. And the bag, another little delight I purchased in the souks in Marrakech. It's really starting to feel like Summer now! Hope you all enjoyed the sunny weekend :-) x

Finally I got chance to wear my favourite boots! I've been waiting for a dry spell since February to take them out for a walk! I had my eyes on these for ages after spotting them on Pinterest, which I then traced back to the Boden website, a lovely British brand. By the time I actually found them they were in the sale but still at a hefty £97, I figured they were a bit out of my price range. And then out of nowhere (coincidently the day before my birthday) I received an email for 80% off on sale items. I am not even joking. £27 I scored these beauties for, most possibly the best £27 I have ever spent. I kept the rest of my outfit light and neutral with a classic white shirt, as I think the shoes do all the talking! What's been your best sale purchase?

Hope you're having a lovely weekend! Happy Bank Holiday! x
